Letters from Aurora Light

This is my entry for Akreon 's adoptable contest ( [link] ). I hope I am not too late, though, it took me quiet long to finish this ._.
I think I needed 5 hours for the sketch, about 9 hours for the painting of the wolf and another 3 hours for the background (not that much, I know, though, you can see that the background didn't get that good ^^ I am just not skilled enough for backgrounds ;D). That make 17 hours all in all (maybe less, maybe more ^^)

Name: Lúthien
Age: 5 years
Father: Valandil (Protector of the White Deserts)
Mother: Nienna (Charmer of the Ice)
Wolf Breed: A mixture of Grey Wolf and Hudson Bay Wolf
Personality:
Lúthien is a calm and really kind wolf, that takes care of others who need help. She understands, how to make people doing something or how to keep the peace between enemies. But her skill to be loved is being used against her many times.
History:
Lúthien was born in the ice storm "Tangu´ja" that crossed the lands of her fathers in the deepest winter in 2006. Her mother had managed to find a cave out of hard and solid ice, that kept her and her pup save. Nienna was all on her own, as Valandil had to care for his pack.
So, in the night of 28th February, 2006, little Lúthien saw the light of life. She had no siblings from the very beginning, which was quiet unique for a wolf in the White Deserts, but Nienna could take care only for her, which was much more easier than carig for five pups. The snow storm was over after two weeks. Nienna was weak from not eating anything and from feeding Lúthien. She almost died of it, but luckily, Valandil was a caring father and found them, before it was too late. So Lúthien's life went on. She got part of the White Deserts Pack and was very loved for her kindness.
But something was different. Her markings were unique, her eyes were too bright and her character almost too caring. Although. she did everything she could to be loved, she got many enemies, that wanted to be as "famous" as she was and they started to bully her.
And then, on 29th February, 2007, she got banned by her own father. She had to stay away from the pack for something, she hadn't even done. So she left, tears sparkling in her eyes. The only guide she had, was the aurora light, that sparkled in the night sky every night, leading her towards her unknown destination.


She misses her pack, her father, her mother, the wolves she called friends. But now she is looking forward to her future. She wants to start her own pack and wants to travle through the arctic lands and explore new places.

The History isn't that long, sorry, but i just couldn't think of anything else o,o

I hope you like this artwork, though, i know, it is not the best entry for this wolf, but I tried it. And thats all I wanted. I couldn't sleep if I didn't ^^ And I did my best, I think : D I can still improve, I know that ;D But I actually think, that I did a good job on the northern lights, though, it is the first time for me doing aurora. (It is the first time I did some background like that, anyway xP) And sorry for the stars. I know, they are crappy ._. But somehow, I am not used to my tablet yet ^^
